Video Production Company in Dubai

Corporate films, hospitality video, events and campaign edits, produced end to end.

Sortie Media is a video production company in Dubai. We produce corporate films, hotel and restaurant content, event coverage, campaign work and social video for brands across the UAE — and we edit, grade and deliver it ourselves rather than handing footage on.

Most of our work is hospitality, which shapes how we shoot everything else. A property is judged on atmosphere as much as on facts, and that is a harder thing to film than a list of features. The same discipline applies to a corporate interview or a product campaign: the question is always what the viewer should believe by the end, not what the camera saw.

What we produce

  • Corporate film

Company profiles, leadership and staff interviews, testimonials, internal communication and project updates.

  • Hospitality video

Rooms, facilities, food and beverage, spa and the guest experience as it actually feels. Content creation covers the stills from the same day.

  • Event coverage

Conferences, exhibitions, launches and gala dinners, with fast-turnaround social cuts alongside the longer film.

  • Social video

Vertical-first Reels, TikTok and Shorts, shot for the format rather than cropped into it. Social media management publishes them.

  • Commercial & brand

Campaign concepts, lifestyle filming, product video, talent, styling and the motion graphics that hold a campaign together.

  • Aerial

Licensed drone filming under DCAA and GCAA licensing, subject to approval for the location and date. More on drone filming.

How a production runs

Five stages, and the middle one is the shortest. Brief and discovery establishes what the video is for, where it will be published and when it is needed. Pre-production settles concept, script, shot list, schedule, crew, locations and permissions — everything that can be agreed before the day is agreed before the day, because that is what decides whether a shoot runs calmly.

Production is the shoot itself, run to that schedule, with lighting and audio handled properly. Post-production covers the edit, grade, sound mix, motion graphics, subtitles and platform versions, with the number of revision rounds agreed in advance so the process has a defined end. Delivery hands over the final files in every format and ratio you need, with the usage rights confirmed in writing.

What changes the cost

We do not publish package prices, because a rate card would be describing a different project from yours. Video production pricing in Dubai depends on the project scope, the number of filming days, locations, crew requirements, equipment, permissions, post-production complexity, deliverables, turnaround time and intended usage.

Two of those are routinely underestimated. Turnaround is one — the same edit delivered in three days and in three weeks are different jobs. Deliverable count is the other: one film and twelve cut-downs is not one video. Send the brief and we will quote against it.

Who we work with

Hotels and resorts, restaurants and hospitality groups, tourism organisations, real estate and development companies, corporate brands and event organisers — across Dubai and the wider UAE, and on location internationally where a project calls for it.

Questions

Common questions

What does a video production company in Dubai actually handle?

Everything between the brief and the final file: concept, script, shot list, scheduling, crew, filming, lighting and sound, aerial coverage where it is approved, edit, grade, sound mix, motion graphics and the platform versions. The shoot day is the visible part and the smallest part.

Do you work on single projects or ongoing production?

Both. One-off films — an opening, a launch, a company profile — and monthly retainers where a recurring shoot day produces a month of material. Hospitality clients usually end up on the second, because a property needs content continuously rather than once.

Can one shoot produce both landscape and vertical versions?

Yes, if it is planned that way. Vertical framing is decided at the shot-list stage, not recovered afterwards by cropping a landscape master, which costs resolution and composition. Tell us the platforms up front and both are shot properly.

Do you handle filming permissions?

We plan around them. Venues, developments and public locations each have their own requirements, and aerial work is licensed separately. Requirements may vary depending on the location, filming date, type of production and relevant authority, so we confirm what a site involves before it is scheduled.

How is a video production quote calculated?

By scope, not by package. Filming days, locations, crew, equipment, creative development, talent, permissions, edit complexity, motion graphics, the number and length of deliverables, turnaround and usage rights all move the figure. We quote against your final brief.

Who owns the finished video?

You do. Usage is agreed in writing before the shoot — where the material can run, for how long, and whether we may show the work in our own portfolio. Several clients ask us not to, and that is respected.
