Real Estate & Property Video Production in Dubai

Property walkthroughs, development films and licensed aerial coverage.

Property in Dubai is sold on two things a photograph struggles with: how a space actually flows, and what surrounds it. A still can show a room. It cannot show that the room sits forty floors up with the water on one side, or that the walk from the lift to the terrace takes eight seconds.

We produce real estate video in Dubai for developers, brokerages and agents — walkthroughs, launch and development films, construction progress sequences and, where approval allows, the aerial coverage that puts a property in its setting.

What we produce

  • Property walkthroughs

Continuous, honest coverage of layout and flow, shot so a buyer can follow the space without narration.

  • Development & launch films

The project as a whole — location, masterplan, amenities and positioning — for a launch or sales centre.

  • Lifestyle films

How the property is lived in, with talent and styling, for campaign and social use.

  • Progress filming

Recurring visits from fixed positions, building a construction timeline over months.

  • Agent & brokerage content

Introductions, listing videos and vertical cuts for individual agents' channels.

  • Aerial coverage

Context, scale and approach shots subject to approval. Licensed drone filming covers how that works.

Aerial coverage, honestly described

Aerial is what property video is often bought for, so it is worth being precise. Sortie Media holds DCAA and GCAA licensing and coordinates the applicable approvals for aerial work. That is not the same as permission to fly anywhere: every operation remains subject to authority approval, and requirements, charges and processing times depend on the location, the filming date and the project.

Parts of Dubai carry restrictions that no amount of notice will change, and some developments sit inside them. We establish which category a site falls into early, so aerial is either planned properly with time to arrange it, or replaced with ground coverage that achieves the same thing. Commercial drone filming has to be planned in advance — it is not something to add to a shoot the week before.

How a property shoot runs

Access decides the schedule. Occupied units, handover dates, sales-centre hours, contractor permissions on an active site and the building's own filming rules all narrow the window before any creative decision is made. We confirm those first, then order the day around the light — glass towers and terraces have a much shorter good hour than an interior does.

For a launch, the practical question is how many deliverables come out of one visit. A development film, a set of unit walkthroughs, vertical cuts for agents and stills are commonly produced from a single scheduled shoot when they are specified up front.

Who we work with

Developers, brokerages, property marketing teams and individual agents across Dubai and the UAE. We produce the content; decisions about pricing, listings and sales strategy stay with you and your advisers.

Questions

Common questions

Do you film aerial coverage of a development?

Where it is approved for that location and date. We hold DCAA and GCAA licensing and coordinate the applicable approvals, but a licence is not a blanket permission — requirements may vary depending on the location, filming date, type of production and relevant authority. We confirm what a site allows before scheduling.

Can you film a property that is still under construction?

Yes. Progress filming is usually a recurring visit on an agreed interval, shot from consistent positions so the sequence cuts together as a timeline. Site access, safety induction and contractor permission are arranged with the developer in advance.

What is the difference between a walkthrough and a lifestyle film?

A walkthrough shows the property honestly, room by room, so a buyer understands the layout. A lifestyle film shows how it is used, usually with talent, and sells the idea of living there. Many launches need both, cut from one shoot.

Do you film unfurnished units?

Yes, though empty rooms are unforgiving on camera — there is nothing to carry scale or warmth. Where a unit is unfurnished we rely on light, movement and exterior context, and we will say plainly if staging would make a material difference.

Can we get vertical versions for agent social accounts?

Yes. Property content performs heavily on vertical feeds, so we frame vertically during the shoot rather than cropping afterwards, and deliver both orientations from the same visit.

What affects the cost of property video?

The number of units or sites, shoot days, whether talent and styling are used, aerial coverage and its approvals, drone permits, edit complexity, how many final videos and formats are delivered, turnaround, and usage rights. We quote against the brief.
