Hotel & Resort Video Production in Dubai

Rooms, facilities, dining and the guest experience, filmed for websites, OTA listings and social.

Hotel video production is mostly a scheduling problem. The filming is straightforward; the difficulty is getting into a suite between checkout and housekeeping, shooting a restaurant before service in the twenty minutes the light is right, and doing both without a guest walking through frame.

We produce hotel and resort video in Dubai and across the UAE for properties that need content working on a website, in OTA listings and on social at the same time. Most of our published work is hospitality, which is why we plan these shoots around operations rather than around a crew's convenience.

What a property shoot covers

  • Rooms & suites

Every category sold separately, plus the signature suites that carry the property's positioning.

  • Dining

Outlets in service and empty, food and drink, and the atmosphere of a room at the hour it is busiest.

  • Facilities

Spa, pool, beach, gym, kids' club and meeting space — the things a guest compares before booking.

  • Guest experience

Arrival, service moments and the parts of a stay a feature list cannot communicate.

  • Destination context

What surrounds the property, which is often what actually decides a booking.

  • Aerial

Establishing shots where approval allows. Drone filming is licensed separately.

Why hospitality video is different

A hotel is not sold on specification. Two properties can list the same amenities and feel nothing alike, and the difference is atmosphere — light, pace, the way a room sounds, how staff move through it. That is the hardest thing to film and the only thing that separates a property from its competitors on a booking page.

It also has to survive being cut in several directions. The film on the website, the fifteen-second vertical on Instagram and the clip on an OTA listing are not the same edit, and shooting for only the first leaves the other two looking like offcuts.

Planning around the property

We start from access rather than from the creative. Which rooms are sellable and when, what occupancy looks like on the proposed dates, when each outlet can be shot, whether the spa can be closed for an hour, who authorises filming in public areas, and what the property will not allow on camera. Only then does the shot list get built.

Light is the other constraint. Interiors change completely between mid-afternoon and dusk, and terraces and pools have one good hour. A property shoot is ordered around those windows, which is why it usually takes fewer days than clients expect but cannot be compressed further.

Who we work with

Hotels, resorts and hospitality groups across Dubai and the UAE, and on location internationally where a project calls for it. Published work includes properties in Downtown Dubai, Doha, Sri Lanka and Türkiye.

Questions

Common questions

Do you film while the hotel is operating?

Almost always. Rooms are shot around housekeeping and occupancy, restaurants during closed hours or before service, and public areas at the quietest points of the day. We build the schedule with the operations team rather than asking the property to close.

How many room categories should we cover?

Every category you sell separately, because a guest choosing between two room types needs to see the difference. Suites and signature rooms usually justify more coverage. We agree the list before the shoot so nothing is discovered missing afterwards.

Can we get vertical cuts for social from the same shoot?

Yes, when it is planned in. Vertical is framed at the shot-list stage rather than cropped from a landscape master afterwards. One property shoot typically yields a website film, a set of vertical cuts and a bank of stills if photography is included.

Do you film aerial coverage of the property?

Where it is approved. We hold DCAA and GCAA licensing, but every flight remains subject to authority approval, and requirements may vary depending on the location, filming date, type of production and relevant authority. We confirm what a specific property allows before it is scheduled.

Will the video work for OTA listings as well as our website?

If the usage is agreed up front. Distribution platforms have their own format and licensing requirements, so we confirm where the material will run before the shoot and deliver the versions each channel needs.

What does hotel video production cost?

It follows scope: shoot days, how many room categories and outlets are covered, crew size, whether talent or styling is needed, aerial coverage, edit complexity, the number of final videos and their formats, turnaround and usage rights. We quote against the final brief.
