Andaz Doha — brand film by Sortie Media
Play film
Sortie Media worked with Andaz Doha to produce a brand film and a hospitality photography set covering the property — its architecture, interiors, atmosphere and the parts of the guest experience a booking decision is actually made on.
Andaz is a brand with a particular character, and a property film that could belong to any five-star hotel would have missed the point. The production was built around what makes this property read as Andaz rather than around a checklist of rooms and facilities.

Selected stills
A section of the photography set delivered to Andaz Doha, shot alongside the film on the same visit.
Brand video production
The film covers the property, its interiors, the hospitality spaces and the design details that carry the brand. It is cut to work as a brand piece rather than a walkthrough — the property is shown in the order that builds an impression, not in the order a guest would physically encounter it.
Our approach to hotel video production is composition and movement first. A static, evenly lit record of a lobby tells a viewer that the lobby exists. Deciding where the camera moves, what it holds on and what it never shows is what makes the same lobby worth watching.
The result is a master film plus cuts suitable for hospitality marketing, the property's own digital platforms and social media, where the same footage has to survive being cropped to vertical and watched without sound.
Hospitality photography
Alongside the film we produced a photography set covering the property's spaces, interiors, details and overall atmosphere. Both were shot on the same visit by the same team, which is why the stills and the film read as one body of work rather than two suppliers' takes on the same building.
The set was built to be used, not admired once. A hospitality library gets pulled apart months later by whoever is filling a booking page, answering a press request or posting on a Thursday, so the frames were composed for those destinations from the outset rather than cropped into them afterwards.
Working this way also compresses the production into a single window on site — which, for a hotel taking guests throughout, tends to be the part that decides whether a shoot is worth doing at all.
Hotel content production at Sortie Media
Sortie Media produces hospitality content creation, hotel videography and hotel photography for luxury hotels and resorts — based in Dubai, working across the UAE and on international productions like this one in Doha.
Hospitality is the majority of what we shoot. A property is chosen by people who have never stood in it, from a screen, months before they arrive — so the pictures are doing work the building cannot do for itself. That is a harder brief than it looks, and it is the one we have spent most of our time on.
Other hospitality work includes Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Raffles, Anantara, Fairmont Doha, Radisson and W Dubai The Palm.
