Social Media Agency in Dubai

Strategy, content and day-to-day management for brands that need their channels run properly.

Sortie Media is a social media agency in Dubai working almost entirely with hospitality: hotels, resorts and restaurants that need their channels to look like the property rather than like a template. We are based in Business Bay and shoot across the UAE, Qatar, the Maldives and Thailand.

The difference from most agencies here is that production and management sit in the same team. We are not commissioning a freelancer and scheduling whatever comes back. The shoot is planned around what the calendar needs, which is why the two rarely drift apart.

What we do

  • Channel strategy

What each platform is for, what gets posted there, and how often. Written down, not improvised monthly.

  • Content production

Our own photography and video, shot to fill the calendar rather than to fill a portfolio.

  • Publishing

Scheduling, captions, hashtags and posting, handled so the property does not have to.

  • Community management

Comments, messages and the day-to-day replies that decide whether an account feels alive.

  • Campaigns

Launches, seasonal pushes and openings, planned around the date they have to land.

  • Reporting

Monthly, in plain language: what was published, what performed, what we would change.

How it usually runs

  1. Discovery. What the property is, who it is for, what has and has not worked.
  2. Strategy. Platforms, pillars, posting rhythm, and what success would look like.
  3. Pre-production. Shot list, locations, timings, permits where aerial work is involved.
  4. Production. A shoot day, usually built around the light at either end of the day.
  5. Edit. Stills and video cut for each platform, delivered as a content bank.
  6. Publishing. Scheduled and posted, with community management alongside.
  7. Review. Monthly, feeding into the next shoot rather than sitting in a deck.

Most clients start with a single shoot before committing to anything ongoing. It is the honest way to find out whether the work suits the property.

Questions

Common questions

What does a social media agency in Dubai actually do?

In practice, three things: decides what to post and why, makes the content, and runs the accounts day to day. Plenty of agencies do only the third and buy the second in. We shoot our own, which is the reason the output looks like the property rather than like stock.

Do you handle strategy or only production?

Both. A calendar without content is a spreadsheet, and content without a plan is a folder of files. Most engagements start with a shoot so there is something to work with, then move to a monthly rhythm.

Which platforms do you work across?

Instagram and TikTok carry most hospitality work in this market, with LinkedIn where the audience is corporate. We shoot once and cut for each platform rather than posting the same asset everywhere.

Do you work with hotels and restaurants specifically?

Almost entirely. Clients include Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Raffles, Anantara, Radisson, Andaz, Fairmont Doha and W Dubai The Palm, alongside restaurant groups in Dubai.
